If you don't have a pet of your own, consider pet sitting. We pay $100 a day plus tip for someone to stay in our home when we are gone. One of our sitters WFH so we pay work from our house.

O/T but would you put on resume all your side jobs? or mention them in an interview - for a full time job unrelated to the side gigs? HR people especially please chime in.

I sell stock photos and videos. Takes a while to get to where I’m at (making $1000-2000 a month) but it can be done with effort and you don’t need to be a pro. I’m certainly not lol, and I do just fine.

All of this is passive income which is nice.

Be careful using stock images and also fan art and licensed stuff. Stock art and most free fonts are not legally allowed to be used for commercial purposes or on images that will be resold. Common sayings are trademarked as are most quotes and catch phrases like "boy mom"

In addition to you violating copyright laws, all of that is not "etsy legal" and can get your shop shut down fairly quickly if some customer or competitor reports you, or if their very aggressive bots catch you.

If Etsy catches you, they will close or suspend your shop, freeze your funds, cancel all your orders even the orders already in production and shipped orders, and refund all your customers, billing you for any balance

If you try to sell artwork, tshirts, stickers, etc on Etsy, only use your own original artwork, and commercially available fonts. Don't use art or AI images that use other people's videos or images, including famous artwork and fan art like Star Wars, college/pro sports teams, greek logos, paw patrol, anything owned by Disney/Warner Bros/etc. That is intellectual property theft. You are violating the law and might end up owing money.

I’m convinced the same poster is popping up here about restaurants all the time.
Do you also have a son who was hired sight unseen and is making $50 an hour by chance?

Do you know what websites would have such jobs? I checked craigslist but majority look scammy...I also see some apps that could be promising.

Google events and catering companies. I worked mainly in restaurants but would do large parties through a said company based in MD (this is over fifteen years ago). It’s like a staffing agency for hospitality staff.

I assume it is a typo, but what did you mean by a “said company”?

I don’t think the poster meant “a said company”, but “said company”. The term “said company” is a place holder for the name of any company that’s fits the narrative.

I hire someone to help me with cooking and light work around the house, like washing dishes or folding laundry. I pay $25 per hour. I usually find them through Next Door.

I like the personal assistant idea. We're not rich, but if I was, I would love the peace of mind.
Someone checking/sorting mail, reminding me of important dates, setting up travel, house sitting, planning events, etc. This would be a valuable service especially if both spouses work and/or their are multiple kids, properties, etc.

Uber Eats driver
Many county park services have seasonal jobs (900 hours per year max, paying btw $17-$24, with weekend hours).
