I wouldn’t suggest the Marlins for a little kiddo, my daughter had an awful experiance two years ago at Audrey Moore with them. Coach barley ever showed and shoved her responsibilities off to the teenager high school student, JR Coach.

Improving technique, building endurance, building speed, building and developing race strategy.

Not the previous poster but even at a young age, club swim is not a learn to swim program. I think most teams can take a kid who is not legal in breast or fly and work with them to become legal. But also a lot of the times for younger ages, the lanes can be crowded so 1:1 attention is not a realistic expectation.

She is eight. She Pretty good but I do not think she has exceptional, natural talent. She made all of the a meets and divisionals in a pretty competitive group of girls. Legal in all four strokes.

You’d be amazed at how many Loudoun County employees and residents spell it Loudon.

This was me. It was a typo. I DCUM from my phone. I stand by the comment - not a fan of the coach.

+1 Cub Run is phenomenal, but probably too far for OP to drive. Yes they swim a lot of yardage in the upper groups, but my swimmer has only benefitted from it. No injuries whatsoever.

Marlins family here. We are at Cub Run. Great program and great coaches. No complaints whatsoever. I am not sure where that gossip about injuries is coming from.
