We had a direct flight that was oversold so they offered people $1500 each in travel certificates to take a later flight with a connection and arrive six hours home later. That would have been 6 k for all. I didn’t say yes because I imagined getting stuck in the connecting city and the bags would have stayed on original flight so I didn’t have contacts or synthroid or tampons and my kids didn’t have their coats. But now I really regret it. What would you have done?
