Many wetting issues could be a sign of a child’s dissatisfaction with their arbitrarily assigned gender. Have you asked them ?

Going through the same thing. Don’t feel bad about him using the nighttime pull-ups. It’s not that big a deal.

We've been using the Therapee device. My son is making progress but it is sloooow. We are now down to wetting the bed once a night, down from 2-3. He is waking up more. For the longest time when I went into his room, he wouldn't even wake up with the alarm. I had to drag him out of bed and get him to take off his wet pajamas, and even then he wasn't fully awake. Last night the alarm woke him and he was out of bed when I went into his room. He's never had a dry night. It is exhausting for us too because we have to get up too.

We also have an appointment with the bedwetting clinic at Children's. I made the appointment back in October for the beginning of January. That was the earliest they had.

I am hoping for a breakthrough soon, we are all very tired.

How is he doing now?

It's hereditary. My dad apparently wet the bed into his teens, I wet the bed until around 10, my kids wet the bed now. Peeing before bed obviously helps. I used to get my kids up for a 'dream pee' before I went to bed around 1 am and that helped. But it doesn't bother me because I know they'll grow out of it

No kid will be okay with having someone put on a diaper for them. Pull-ups are like normal like underwear they put them on and take them off thorw them away.

My 12 year old used some for adults because they were free on marketplace, He was able to put them on by him self without too much trouble.

If you just pretape the diaper loosely they can still put it on without help, you can adjust it afterwards to make it fit better. It’s only for nighttime so it shouldn’t matter
