Salted Brown butter Rice Krispie treats from smitten kitchen. Make at least a double batch. Super easy.

In my experience, a lot of adults don’t eat cupcakes, especially heavily iced, unless they are tiny. Brownies, mini tarts, cheesecake bites. Maybe serve alongside a bowl of mixed berries.

I wouldn't bring anything that needs to be served at a specific time, like ice cream. My experience with Super Bowl parties is that everything - from appetizers to desserts - sits out for a few hours, and people pick at everything throughout the game.

Brownies, cookies, etc are all good suggestions. If you want something more grown up, trays of mini cheesecake bites or petit fours. Or even a fruit tray with a cream cheese dip or chocolate fondue pot.

Scotcheroos

Red and green themed stuff (KC vs Eagles) - decorated cookies, cupcakes, etc...

Cookie cake decorated for the game. Easy to pick up at any grocery.

Oooh good one. I always forget about these because I find them disgusting but people seem to love them! As a stretch you can also classify cannolis as "Philly" theme food since there's an Italian pop. up here for sure.

Two tubs of ice cream (at least one should be vanilla), and 3 cans of Reddi-wip. I know from experience that people will love you forever for bringing that.

Not the hosts unless you also bring bowls, spoons, ice cream scoop and don't ask for space in their freezer.

Brownies or rice krispy treats. This is not the occasion for a fancy or fussy dessert.

Premade brownie bites are popular.

Or 20 bowls and 20 spoons. This is way overcomplicating it. Bring the brownies and call it a day.

+2

This isn't a 5 yr okds bday! This is the SB party with 20 adults.

Nobody is going to want ice cream especially in Feb when it's 35 degrees.

AND said adults will most likely be drinking for the majority of the time.
Ice cream is the worst suggestion possible.

I would buy an ice cream cake

If I were asked to do this I would make cupcakes. Ice them all white, then buy a bag of m&ms and find enough green ones to put on top of half, red on the other. Or sprinkle some sugar, like you put on cutout cookies.
If you go the cookies route, you could add some red and green m&ms to them, too.
