+1 I can't think of a gen X journalist better than her. This isn't congress where there are a finite number of seats to hog. The crown isn't given, it's taken.

Bullshit. Boomers are hoarding these gigs because they’re few and far. Same for boomers in the public sector collecting multiple pensions while job hopping after retirement. Greedy pigs depriving younger generations the titles and earning power they had access to.
