(For what it's worth, I have a freshman at a T10 trying to figure out a course schedule. Had some senioritis last year and didn't study for Physics C, ending up with a 4. Now wishes he had made the effort to get a 5, because it would have been a big help to his schedule for placement purposes.)
++ send! my kid was glad they studied hard and used 5s to get into higher levels

nah doesn't happen at ivies /elites. Kids with all 5s in math AP or even all stem is common now.
