That Reddit as a whole has a strong left wing bias is no news. It's been like that for years. I got banned from a regional city forum by commenting masking wasn't as effective as people think, and I was accused of killing grandma.

I haven't looked at reddit lately but a lot of the forums were pretty apolitical. Those about DIY, or home cooking, or niche hobbies really never strayed into politics. But it wouldn't surprise me if there is sheer hysteria on forums like the DC reddit or Baltimore reddit or NYC reddit or any of the political forums. The moderators were always very censorious of anything that didn't conform to ordained progressive orthodoxy.

For example, what other way can you view Musk's recent infiltration of government agencies than by calling it what it is--an attempt to exert unlawful control over the US federal government.
