Not really. A good quality automobile is, essentially, infinitely repairable. People replace their cars at 12 or 13 years old because they are out of fashion.
Or they are more expensive to repair than the car is worth. It's hard to dump 5-8k into a 20 year old Dodge (not a pickup)
