The overwhelming majority of kids are not being driven by their parents to school. They take metro and then walk from there. There is also a bus from the metro too.
There is no need to be driving your teenager to school in the city. Most of the kids are self sufficient and public transit savy.

Why do you need to go to east end for stokes Spanish? They have both Spanish and French programs at Brookland. How about Bunker Hill or Burroughs? They are well liked for prek.
