If you are planning to drive for drop off, I would see if there is anyway you can do the DCI commute on a normal workday just to see if you can stomach it day after day year after year. I used to walk to the metro passed all that and it looked miserable.

By the time kids are at DCI, many take the Metro or bus to school.

It's not possible to get into Shepherd pk3 OOB. They don't have room for all the IB kids.

The overwhelming majority of kids are not being driven by their parents to school. They take metro and then walk from there. There is also a bus from the metro too.

There is no need to be driving your teenager to school in the city. Most of the kids are self sufficient and public transit savy.

I'm sorry. I messed up. Meant to say DC Bilingual.

Only add Bethune if you have a spot available. You can easily get in post-lottery.

This is my true order of pref. I dont wanna go to east end for EW Spanish. But I'll add Bethune and Dorothy Height as they are closer by

Why do you need to go to east end for stokes Spanish? They have both Spanish and French programs at Brookland. How about Bunker Hill or Burroughs? They are well liked for prek.

I thought Spanish was only in East End. i guess I was wrong. I'll edit my list.
