I would highly recommend Lauren Kolazas.

You may want to hold out for a Dominion model, 1680-1800 sf depending on location in the neighborhood. Yes, the monthly fees are what they are, but no yard work and great amenities. The homes are solid with slate roofs and that’s why the fees are where they are.

Thanks. This is great info, and I will start watching out for one to hit the market.

Just fyi, there’s a smaller number of those and they are very popular, especially among families already there looking for more space.

Do you have a realtor already? It might be helpful to work with one who specializes in Fairlington if you don’t.

Well the listing already went pending so clearly it’s a desirable place!

We live in Arlington Village, which is very similar to Fairlington, but smaller # of units and closer to Columbia Pike. We love it! Have a 3-bedroom and it feels spacious. The pool is a great amenity as Arlington has no public outdoor pools. We know all our neighbors and there is a great community feel. Its unique in the ages of residents, income levels, and families, 20-somethings, retired folks. Fairlington Village and Arlington Village are two of the gems of the DC IMO.

Great community overall but I would wait for a unit that isn’t quite as close to the highway.

A nice thing about that neighborhood is it is really easy to get to other parts of Arlington, Alexandria and DC from there.

This is extremely helpful. Thanks so much. My DH was not happy with the size.
