However, it's not something he'd consider normally bc of typical federal government stability.I want him to wait out this madness for a bit and see if things calm down. Federal retirement benefits are not something to throw away. But he's been miserable for a while and all of this junk since Trump took office is just reinforcing his misery.

BUT, I’m in an agency/ component exempt from FORK YOU and which is not eligible for VERA this round. And I’m not doing policy work that could cause problems during this Admin. So, I’m not worried about a RIF (but if I got one, it would be 52 weeks, which beats the FORK YOU offer).
