Please post on the Private School Forum to have more accurate details. Some privates are very progressive, like GDS. Every single non-religious school will be center-left to left, because most wealthy people lean left here. Some Catholic schools and perhaps other schools from other denominations will be socially conservative, but not all of them. Jesuit schools are usually less conservative than other Catholic schools. Social conservatism doesn't mean MAGA. The Church has a duty to care for the indigent and vulnerable of any nation, regardless of paperwork, so certain ideologies will never align. If you're interested in the most academically reputable schools - and opinions vary on which to include in that group - such as Sidwell (Quaker school), and the Cathedral schools (Episcopalian), they're all center-left.
I'd like to note that most of us will be courteous if we learn that you work for this administration. I know many decent conservatives in Trump's first term, who felt called to be the bulwarks of democracy against the anticonstitutional or illegal excesses of Trump 1.0. Someone has got to be on the inside looking out for those of us on the outside. I'm sure there are some around for 2.0 as well.
But you are correct to beware of your children's experiences in school. Kids tell it like it is.
