It's not the same as it was when there was a bandwagon with Joe Gibbs, the Hogs, John "the Diesel" Riggins, Joe "the man we both loved and hated" Thiesman, RFK Stadium and the snowy day when the Skins played the Cowboys in final playoff game and RFK literally shook!
Those were the salad days, my friend, when were young and invincible. I was 15 and my father and older brother both had season tickets in the End Zone and sight on the field was distorted but nobody cared. We got to know all the people seated around us and shared tail gate parties. Both my father and brother are now gone but such wonderful memories.
