Agreed. And making this call during the school day, rather than waiting until tonight, is going to help to get the word out.

He's not new to leading a school system. And parents have been asked to put up with a lot. Low literacy rates, sexual predators promoted and paid off, and now just flagrant disdain for working parents. If you ask me, giving MCPS "a break" is a terrible idea.

I'm sure everyone at central office is telling each other this..none of you folks bothered to look around and notice no other employer besides schools had so much as a delay this week. You all wanted to party and sleep in instead of even just letting the child care providers open. You deserve all the heat you get.
