Not so fast. There is plenty of other garbage on YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Discord, etc., to feed their anxieties and depression.

Same. I don’t let my teens drive either, it’s too dangerous. They are also still breastfeeding twice a day, for the antibodies.

Teens can’t drive without hours of lessons, instructions, safety discussions, and a test. There are also restrictions on driving, such as speed limits, you must wear your seatbelt, etc. What preparation did your teen go through before you handed them a phone so you could disengage and be free of parenting, and what restrictions did you put on screens? (Oh wait, you didn’t; you want your kids out of your face as much as possible.)

How old are your teens? What are their academic, extra curricular and social accomplishments? I will put mine up against yours all day long. They are phenomenal people.

You forgot “highly regarded private school.”

Get real, They’re still asleep

They were awake last night when it happened. They also knew it was coming. They are fine. I know, it stinks for you.

I went cold turkey on DCUM for a month and I felt no different.

I assume you don’t let them on insta or YouTube either. My brother was all high and mighty that he didn’t let his kids on TikTok and yet both have phones (from like 11) and spent countless hours on YouTube when we were all gathered for the holidays.

I mean, my teens don’t watch TikTok but if I were you, I would expect them to be grumpy/detoxing.

Weak. Driving is really dangerous. That’s why kids have to take classes and do hours and hours of supervised practice. Did you teach your kids to use the internet responsibly?
