Teens can’t drive without hours of lessons, instructions, safety discussions, and a test. There are also restrictions on driving, such as speed limits, you must wear your seatbelt, etc. What preparation did your teen go through before you handed them a phone so you could disengage and be free of parenting, and what restrictions did you put on screens? (Oh wait, you didn’t; you want your kids out of your face as much as possible.)
How old are your teens? What are their academic, extra curricular and social accomplishments? I will put mine up against yours all day long. They are phenomenal people.
