I think the point is being made that someone (maybe your club) paid $350.
That’s an event sponsored by SUSA. I don’t have a player that attended but even I can see from the social media posts that the event that just happened is far different than the one being advertised on the SUSA website. Players from California and Texas flew in for this camp, per various social media pages.
It's the same freaking thing.
Both are talent id's for gotham that's it nothing more
You're not special.

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, whatever event that is at SUSA is not the same event that took place the last two days.
Totally separate.
Anonymous wrote:Tell your friend *wink* *wink* that this was a free 2 day event. Carla Overbeck, Marguerite Aozasa, and other coaches gave talks. Gotham coaches were around. Former pro-players gave talks, agents, etc. The girls loved it.
There were some top older YNT players there, most already committed (FSU, Duke, USC, Notre Dame) but I heard they were there to be scouted for potential opportunities to train with the full team. I talked to one family and was told that their hotel stay was covered but they paid for airfare. Not sure if this was the case for all those that came from out-of-state. Still, ECNL showcases don't cover hotel stays.
So be snarky all you want. If your friend's daughter gets identified to attend an event like this in the future, it might be worth their time for the experience. Nothing like an ECNL showcase with games going on across 20+ fields all day, etc.

There was no charge to attend this event. Gotham provided meals, recovery, athletic trainers, etc.
Is this the event that you're referring to?
