Maybe my kids were too small when we went. They were 3/5. I just recall it being not super fun and lines were much longer. We did do the star wars one but other rides were insane lines. Insane lines for almost everything. I felt like we did 2-3 things. The toy story one, the star wars and singalong. Maybe I’ll give it another try.

We just got back from Epcot - my kids who are your kids' ages enjoyed it. DH and my more adventurous kid loved the Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster; my more academic kid enjoyed those aspects of the park. Soarin' is great, the new Moana walk-through water thing is cute, Ratatouille is awesome. We've enjoyed the Frozen ride on previous trips. We had a fun day there. I think they liked it as much if not more than AK (which we did last year).

Space Mountain is at Magic Kingdom and has been since 1975.

OP, this is who you are taking advice from, FYI. They might send you to a park that doesn’t even have the ride they are remembering.

My boys did not like Epcot and I was worried that we would have to leave by noon. Soarin was awesome though. I wouldn't waste a day on it.

No, but that was my elementary school boys' least favorite of all of the parks.

Epcot > Magic Kingdom

Unless they are huge Disney fans and want to meet all of the characters, I wouldn't spend two days at MK. My favorite (and my kids favorite) is Hollywood Studios so I would pick that over Epcot. But there is plenty of Epcot to fill the day. If you think they will like the countries, go for it. But there are only a few rides that are worthwhile there so it really depends on your kids. If they like Pixar movies or Star Wars, definitely go to Hollywood Studios.

That's Test Track, which is a great ride, but breaks down all the time

Currently closed and will reopen in 2025 (no specific date). Don’t count on it.

+1 just went on a trip to all of the parks with boys these ages, and Hollywood Studios was the clear favorite.
