Right, it seems "fine" from the website, as you would expect, but add context to that. Ask, for instance, any 09 or 2010 to catch up on the coaching debacle. It's not a good story to tell.

well, if records are important to your picking a team for your kid, you can easily find how ASA is doing in U13 and 14 by looking at schedule, so what's above is not totally accurate. Poster could absolutely know if they looked up ASA's schedule.

Records are important to me because I believe better teams get more eyes on them. But it isn't the only way and not the only consideration. Development, mentorship, history of academy/D1 placements...all important too.

Do you have an experience where SYC or Arlington (closest from what I can tell...) was better? All clubs have problems with coaching and politics so your experience doesn't necessarily surprise me. It would be great to hear that you left and had a better experience somewhere else.

Would not recommend. Decisions are made with a lot of family politics and this is why they are struggling. Coaching is inconsistent.

Are you also saying individual development is not the priority?

Sounds like being on a winning team is where your priority rests, so your kid's individual performance is sugar-coated

That said, if your kid is at MLS Next level, I'd assume individual development path is the priority and not W's and L's of teams
