I'm sort of a weather app junkie, and the default Apple weather app is the only one I have forecasting this. AccuWeather (which has usually been most accurate, IMO) shows basically nothing, others show a chance for a little bit but nowhere near 12 inches. And Jay's Wintry Mix says snow then is possible, but it's WAY too early to make predictions so he's not even discussing it beyond a passing mention at this point.
My weather app was spot on for the last snow and it was also a week out showing it.

Not obsessed with them having extra days off. I'm preparing for the very possible reality that winter weather will impact the school day again soon. I'd rather know that very cold weather may cause them to delay or cancel school than it be a surprise to see next week.
My kids would love another snow day.

WAY too soon to tell, but that window is worth watching. We rarely get that sort of snow event any more though.
I’ll tell DH to get the snow blower fixed. We won’t have snow for at least another decade.
