Costco meat has no flavor. It's not cheaper per pound - not even close. I'm sticking to Wegmans!

I’ve had good luck with Harris Teeter but not the ranchers reserve. For years I thought Costco was good quality but my last few roasts were disappointing. I spent a fortune on a standing rib roast at Christmas which was bad. I know it wasn’t me because I prepared it the way I always do.

I found their organic ground beef to be way more greasy than from the grocery store.

Too bad as the price is good.

I find the fish from Costco to be very low quality. Often it smells like ammonia.

I buy most meat directly from a farmer.

When I can’t, I get chicken at WF and organic ground beef at Costco or Target.

A friend gets her meat at Sam's Club, and that has been very good. But she has several kids with a son in high school sports, so they eat a lot more than we do.

I used to buy meat from the butcher counter at WF until a year or two ago. It’s weird - the ribeye is tough and meats are often gristly and stringy.

I buy meat from all of the places discussed here excluding any specialty butchers and Costco meat is not "off". That straight up bs.

We buy most meat at Costco but I noticed that all of the stores had quality issues post covid. From Giant, Costco, Harris Teater I've noticed chicken isn't butchered well and I often find small particles of bone. I have to check all the chicken carefully before cooking. I've seen oddly cut red meat too. I think the meat producers are still struggling with a loss of employees.

I shop at all of those places and it's simply not true.

We always buy from Whole Foods (Prime, you can order it) or from Organic Butcher.

It's the same.
