In my eyes, the Lil Hoyas have the most daunting schedule. Throw in league tilts with Landon and Bullis twice, and it's very challenging.

SJC's first 7 games are a freaking gauntlet... the Cadets could easily come out of that stretch with a 3-4 record or a 5-2 record.

Given what Bullis returns on paper, I would have thought they would have scheduled a bit more of a daunting schedule but the Bulldogs have little depth. Spalding is likely the favorite to win the MIAA this year as is McDonogh.

Curious how Landon does against the Florida programs and even Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge has come out of nowhere and is throwing a ton of resources toward its lacrosse program.

GP isn't embarrassed at all. There's nothing in their behavior even hinting at it. They consistently recruit and are barely within the "no first contact" rule of the IAC because they don't care. Their coaches and sports parents (not many alum) are really aggressive in seeking out players in all sports. I predict they will be expelled from the IAC in the next 2 years for the final time. However, they are re-loading and will be back on top in 2027 with the amount of recruits they continue to import.

I tend to agree with this post.

GP is becoming a Culver type lax academy... I very well could see them becoming a full time member in the WCAC within 5 years max or playing independent all together. Saint Stephens has officially pulled out of the IAC for football next Fall so you have to wonder what is the overall future of the league as a whole.

The Lil Hoyas They have outgrown the IAC... GP is as big as DeMatha, with 130 boys in a class.

Prep has the facilities to become like a Culver type Academy and add in its boarding component, the sky is the limit. Look at their top football, basketball, and lacrosse players, all boarding students who have likely re-classed.

Continued: GP no longer views themselves as compatible with the IAC either. They desperately want to be seen on the same level as the Deerfields and Culvers. They may beat the IAC to the punch.

As far as rankings go, the IAC champ will end up being the #1 team. Gonzaga and SJC playing Culver and GC playing Lawrenceville makes no sense. The WCAC still resembles high school lacrosse and playing post grad and reclass factories is just not worth it. It doesn't matter how good the 17 year old is, he's gonna get crushed by the 20 year old.

Bullis has a really good roster and plays the lightest schedule. I didn't think PVI's schedule was as tough as SJC and GZ, so maybe they can jump up this year. Landon is pretty lean this year compared to last year.

Lil Hoyas have a very tough schedule this year for a young squad.

non league tilts with Saint Mary's Annapolis, Loyola Blakefiled, Gilman, Malvern Prep, Taft, Don Bosco Prep NJ, and their annual Jesuit rival Gonzaga.

Add in league rivals Landon and Bullis, 1-2x, its a very difficult schedule for Prep.
