One of the best shows ever but I wouldn’t take my 10 year old to a show about a teenager sneaking out to have sex with a boy she barely knows.

I’ve seen most of the shows you’re suggesting,OP. My first choice would be Six. Second I’d do &Juliet.

The show is great, the cast is amazing and the entire experience of going to City Center Encores is like catching lightening in a bottle! You are lucky your trip to NYC coincides with one of their productions.

(Maybe also go see Maybe Happy Endings)

Oh I didn't realize they got Jordan Fisher for that. His only downside is he has a reputation for being out more, but for a short run you're more guaranteed to see him. I've seen him and his voice is very strong. Rest of the cast is stacked.

If you want to see Urinetown, buy tickets sooner as that is more likely to sell out because it's a short run. Those NYCC productions have sometimes, but not universally, followed up with a full Broadway transfer. Obvious there's no reviews for that yet.

Those productions are a bit more stripped down on sets and similar.

I went down a cast rabbit hole.

I did just remember Joey Fatone is going to be joining &Juliet during that time, if you happened to be into boy bands back in the day. That casting is sort of funny as he's going to be singing multiple Backstreet Boys songs.

I looked up Six and Adrianna Hicks (original Broadway Aragon) just came back and she is stunning. I don't know much about the other current queens.

But I will also say Darren Criss and Helen Shen are fantastic in Maybe Happy Ending.

So if you're into seeing specific performers, there's lots of good choices.
