Not true. Some of my kid's teachers in MS and HS had degrees from Liberty.

Take your bigotry elsewhere.

One of my son's favorite (and one of the best) MoCo elementary school teachers he had went to Liberty.

Liberty might have serious problems, but she was good.

I'm not sure about some of the smaller LACs, but I did just look to make sure Shenandoah has the 4 year BSN program.

They also do have a good exercise science/kinesiology program

Nursing is a horrible career choice. Do not do that!

Re: Virginia Publics. There's a finite number of Virginia publics. No magical new one you're going to discover. Your student can apply to them all. See where they are accepted and then stress over choosing once they actually have a choice.

+1

And I'll add that I know a graduating nursing student who is contemplating several job offers.

A B student isn’t getting into JMU anymore.

Knew this was coming. Patently untrue.

Exactly. Every kid we know there was a B student.

Hardly a hidden gem but GMU also has a good nursing program. And lots of nearby clinical options.

For Nursing, what matters is having both the BSN degree and the RN, not which school. Radford is a good option for Nursing.
