But this is really high school dependent. She should ask her counselor when they meet.

She is not in the DMV. Niece will take SAT for first time this spring. I don't know her PSAT. She is full pay I think.

Not necessarily. 3.8uw from a rigorous non-DMV private gets into schools like Vanderbilt, Cornell, WashU, Emory, Georgetown etc from our school.
