You can put a password on your router, boomer, so they can't change the DNS there.

They can change it on the device itself, which does not require router access. And proxies normally exist in the cloud. There are plenty of ways to get around this stuff, and kids are very good at figuring them out before the adults do. Technological solutions for social problems never work, especially with kids.
