Would you mind giving me a few examples of states where pot is illegal?
I need some help finding a vacation place where I can enjoy an outdoor lunch, walk, or beach activity without the toxic people smoking pit or cigarettes next to me.

We were at a luxury resort with fancy pants people and each night we smelled pot coming from people smoking at nearby villas.

We had left our balcony door open while we were at dinner and our villa reeked of pot coming from below.

So gross.

It is. I'm so sick of selling it everywhere.

No one is forcing you to deal drugs.

I have been there at the Ritz. Both were underwhelming, but at least the Omni is a lot cheaper. I felt cheated at the Ritz. Never even could get a pool chair. So ridiculous!

You now must reviews before going anywhere.

Agree; we stayed at the Omni on AI, but wished we had stayed in town. The Ritz reviews were also pretty bad, hence why we decided to try the Omni.

I really think they did a good job on the homestead renovation. I don’t like the window covers (they basically kept the old windows and put sheets of barely visible glass outside them), but I appreciate why they were maybe the best option. And it does make a difference to see the old hardware and such as you walk around inside. Our room was lovely and all the staff we interacted with were great. The food wasn’t that good, but it wasn’t bad. The indoor pool is so amazing.

I remember staying at an Omni as a kid in the 1990s when my Dad was being recruited for a new job and thinking it wasn't good. The place weirdly smelled like artificial banana and everything was brown.

I haven't been to Omni Amelia Island, but aren't all Omni properties historic? We went to Omni Bedford Springs this fall, and there was no escaping that old-building smell. Because ... the buildings are ... quite old.

But maybe Amelia island isn't a historic property? At any rate, I think of Omni resorts as chubby at best, not FAT. So you do have to mind your expectations with them.

Not surprised. Omni's are hit or miss and honestly, I find Amelia island to be low budget overall
