If they left the baby in the car when they later returned, shut off the car, and went inside, I suppose. But that seems weird.

Plus they don't have a baby.

That's what I initially thought. Earlier in the night I was trying to decide if I should wake up the people in the house to turn off their car lights. That could have led to an awkard interaction if the car occupents didn't see me walking up.

I've had three extra people (beyond immediate family) in my small home since Dec 20. I've taken to sitting in the car occasionally just to get a break, listen to something that isn't sports, or have a private phone conversation.
