I have terrible nausea about every 5 times. It's hard to predict what will kick it off

What is rough? Constipation so bad I have now had multiple impactions, one of which landed me in urgent care because I couldn't get it out myself. Diarrhea that is the most painful I've ever had. Stomach pains bad enough to make me roll around and moan. Fatigue was the worst though -- I almost quit over fatigue that was so bad it made it hard for me to do my job. Blurry vision. Sleep disturbances. Nightmares. Nausea and vomiting. I once vomited at the same time as the diarrhea; that was pretty awful.

And no -- I have found no "good remedies" aside from fiber for the constipation. Which sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't, and sometimes triggers the horrible diarrhea.

Nothing special is required. It's not like a pill that you need to take with food. Day, night, empty stomach, full. It has made no difference.

I take my shot on Friday evening; like you, I was concerned about side effects and wanted the weekend to have them instead of having them at work. Turns out I usually get the worst side effects on the second and third day after the shot. But just pick a day, and take it. It will take you a few weeks to figure out when you get the worst side effects.

Yeah sorry you don’t approve! I already do all of that-I eat healthy and Peloton nearly every day and still am overweight and perimenopause isn’t helping. Giving this a try along with what I’m already doing to get my weight down and improve my overall health.

Keep an eye out for side effects and deal with them. If you have nausea, get nausea meds. If you have constipation (which is the only side effect I've had), stay on top of it with fiber/miralax.

One thing I found helpful to understand is that it has a half life of a week. That means that a week after your injection, half of the medicine is still in your system. What this means is that over time, you build up higher levels. So by week 4, even if you are injecting the same dose, you have more medicine affecting you.

For this reason, I would not recommend moving up your injection day, so that if you start having side effects, you don't compound them. I have moved my injection day LATER if I forget an injection or want to switch days, but never sooner.

I would do it on a Friday night so you can sleep through the side effects if you have them. The weekend will also give you some time to get through any side effects before going back to work. The injection itself is no big deal. You barely feel it. I do it in my leg and don’t want to change the injections site because I’ve had minimal side effects. I’ve had some heartburn/indigestion, a little nausea and some tiredness.

I’ve slowly increased the dosage. I’ve been on since August and have lost 35 pounds. I’m currently at 1.0 and as long as I’m losing, I’ll say there.

Lots of protein, veggies, water and exercise. Limited fried foods and red meat/pork for me. I also do fiber gummies but haven’t needed them lately because I’ve been regular. The medication helps you manage portions. It has also eliminated the desire to drink alcohol for me.

PP why would they gain it right back?

Won’t you need to use it for the rest of your life to maintain your weight loss? Otherwise you will gain it all back in a week.
