Probably Nixon (d. 1995). I was working part-time at NCS when Ford died (2006) and nobody told me that school was closed for the day.

Our high school likely won't, but they have a very, very good virtual classroom that it will go on as regular from home and not be canceled.

Agreed, don't think any others closed for Bush Sr.'s funeral in 2018.

+1 Parent of a Cathedral Chorister. The schools have been closed for multiple recent events. For one the security was so tight I had to drop my chorister off on Wisconsin Avenue. Secret Service would not let non-authorized people get any closer.

The Cathedral schools have closed for several recent funerals. This one, with multiple former Presidents in attendance, will certainly warrant the highest-level of security for the close. I'd be shocked if those schools were open.

As for the other schools in DC, no, don't see them closing.

Yes cathedral schools will close and some northwest dc schools will also.

No schools like potomac and other schools nowhere close to event won’t close.

I think NCS will have to close because of its proximity to the Cathedral and issues regarding security (all living presidents will be there). Also, with employees in the parking lot, where will funeral attendees park?
