Moms are responsible for 50% of the support of their kid also.

My response woukd differ based on the circumstances. If he is paying cs, I would give my kid an accounting of where the cs money goes. If itnwere spent on presents be honest.

If I work I would show still show my kid where is goes and explain what additional expenses I have.

Really, you’d show accounting to your 6 year old? I call hard BS on this and it would be ultra bad parenting to involve a 6 year old in such matters.

This whole thread makes nonsense and is obvious pot stirring. The person trying to stir up trouble scrambled up the characters' lines in this fictional story.

How do you respond to this?

You don't because no response will shut it down.

I'm not asking how to respond to the parent. I'm asking how to respond to a kid who thinks I didn't get them any Christmas present.

If you aren't trolling, your OP post was incoherent.

Say that Mom's gift was from you too, and your relationship with is purely financial, not sentimental, so toughen up and get back to the school of hard knocks.

Once the CS hits your acct, it’s your money. Which you used to buy presents. This year, but maybe not next if this is how kid says thanks.

Why is the kid to blame?

For being ungrateful? For refusing to see all the work the mom did beyond just financing the gift? Seriously?

Kid is clearly repeating stuff from the dad, but after a certain age is still responsible for doing so without thinking or caring about its effect on mom.

Sorry.

"Mommy bought you the presents you got here. "

And, dad contributed to the cost of them.

Nah. Dad contributed the bare minimum which is housing, food and clothes. My ex thinks his lousy $600 month covers all of my expenses too. I assume you’re one of those too. My ex also rarely buys gifts.
