Who-hoo. Great! Prior responses seemed to say it worked fine as is. Glad it's looking at upgrade.

I never browse DCUM on my iPhone (a 6 even!) because I hate zooming in and out.

I love DCUM and I'm on here on my computer all day long (ahem, when taking breaks from work) but it's such a pain to use on my phone I don't --and I'm on my phone A LOT since I'm nursing my baby and use my phone when I'm getting the preschooler to sleep, too. But I got to sites that have adaptive design instead so the text is big enough without zooming and I can just flick to navigate.

Yeah, I have a Galaxy III, and while I can read it, all the zooming in and out is a pain. It would be nice to have a version optimized for mobile devices. More people reading DCUM on their phones would lead to more ad revenue, right?

If you use an ad manager like http://www.google.com/intl/bg/doubleclick/

You can ensure certain ads get targeted for mobile vs desktop. It wouldn't require anything more than a script reference change.

So, I don't have planes to make a mobile version of the website. I have given some thought to an iPhone app, but no immediate plans to create one. I'd have to hire a programmer which I'm not that eager to do.

FYI I know you have considered this before but a little optimization for mobile devices would be awesome.

The biggest issue I have is the keyboard abruptly minimizes mid-typing on iPhones. Then my continued 'typing' hits a link on the screen where the keyboard used to be and whole post is lost.

Is there a fix for these? Happens on iPhones 4,5

another forum I am on uses forumrunner for mobile devices, but I've never actually tried it out to see how much better it is.

I'm 09/05/2010 09:05 and just wanted to say that I haven't had slowness/loading issues in quite some time. Months.

Thank you!!

I had to dredge up this old post bc I have to agree and want to beg for a mobile version for all those with Blackberrys ... and stuck in boring work meetings who need something interesting to read!!!!
