Not OP but I'm the same but frankly I don't care about food waste. I don't eat 99% of leftovers. DH on the other hand will save everything he possibly can then stare past it for days on end never eating it. I eventually toss everything.

Stop worrying about food waste. It’s biodegradable. If you are that worried then learn portion control.


That is not the issue. So many resources went into producing and bringing the food to you...all for it to be in a landfill. A huge waste.


Don’t care. If I didn’t buy it someone else would have. This is nowhere near my problem.

About 3-4 PP said they have Sunday stew. No one else said Friday. My rule is 3 days across the board.
