have an air fryer I use for toast for the same reason, but the toast sucks. I found a way to clear space in one lower cabinet and am going o just put a toaster in there to pull out when I want toast. The air fryer toaster setting dries the bread out too much before it browns. It's ok with bagels.

We have a Breville air fryer/toaster oven combination, and while the oven is fantastic, the air fryer is so-so. We purchased another air fryer.

Microwave
The other two will render leftovers dry and crispy, which if desired can be done stovetop in a pan.
