Use the water park in the evening or early morning if you can. It gets crowded in the afternoon. Be prepared for the stupid magic wand game. And the arcade. They had some fun evening activities if your kid is under 10.
We really enjoyed some of the scheduled activities in the lobby—especially the morning yoga and the storytime in the evening. We did use the locker and showers and both were totally fine. My 8yo loved the wand thing. Borrow a wand from someone so you don’t have to buy one—you can activate it there. OR avoid it. Because while my son loved it, I found it to be a big PITA because he got really obsessed with it and it was crowded and frustrating. Bring breakfasts for the room. Eat burgers, etc for lunch by the pool. For us, the “service” in the nicer restaurant was so bad that I felt kind of annoyed we’d spent the money and time on it. There’s an in house place to order pizza for your room for dinner and bring some fruit to have with it. The eating area by the pool is kind of chilly. Bring hoodies or something in your pool bag. Have a great time.
