A girl was beaten repeatedly in the stairwell by a male student. The girl was taken to the hospital. No word re a mental health crisis
Sigh. We need to do a better job educating these kids. Even if it turns out the perp has special needs or something.
What education do you think the school system has not provided to this alleged student that would make him think assaulting his girlfriend was ok?

AM announcement:
Earlier this morning, Wednesday, December 4, a male student punched a female student many times in a stairwell. A group of students stepped in to help and the female student received medical treatment in the Health Room and was transported to Holy Cross hospital to receive further medical treatment.
PM announcement:
Late this morning, Wednesday, December 4, a situation arose in the school's front atrium involving a student who appeared to be in distress and potentially a danger to himself. School security and administrators acted swiftly to intervene, and emergency services, including police, were immediately contacted.
Out of an abundance of caution, we initiated a temporary shelter-in-place protocol from 10:47 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. The student was subsequently transported to a local hospital to receive medical care and support.
