This!! Ivy League ceos are actually not that common. Look up the bios of executives at fortune 500s (esp the non tech ones) and you’ll see plenty of state and no name colleges. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the business world it’s that your college does not matter and it’s your ability to problem solve and communicate with others and actually get stuff down that gets you promoted.


This is because there are fewer than 10 Ivy League schools and WAY more companies.

The better stat is to look at whether certain schools are overrepresented. Raw numbers tell you nothing.

Even though this was a public annual meeting, the shooter had to know time of arrival and door in which he was entering. Wearing a backpack (change of clothes inside) and having an escape bicycle ready? This was a professional hit facilitated by information from inside the company.

Let's see who gets elevated to CEO...that's the person who stands to benefit the most.

Why can't accountants be CEOs?


Easiest path to the C-suite is with a CPA after spending formative years at one of the Big 4. Tell your kids to major in accounting if they want to be rich with minimal debt.

It’s actually pretty common for CEOs to have security and have been briefed on threat environments ahead of time.

- I work in threat intelligence for a Fortune 50 company and have done a lot of threat assessments ahead of CEO and other senior management travel
