Um, yeah! We won't get over it all year and it kinda makes me hate your kid

Um, yeah! You should not be a teacher if you take out your hate on a kid for what the parents do. Find another profession. There are good teachers and then there are some ** like you.

It's like when admin guilt us into breaking our contract hours for extra pointless duties and we have to say" oh thank you boss you love the kids much you had the courage to take advantage of your already overworked staff".

Interesting because I've been told by my child's attendance secretary that the teacher has to correct attendance in the system. Are you an ES teacher?

No, MS. We can excuse tardies but not absences.

I mark ABS. Later, the attendance secretary codes it as either excused or unexcused. Frankly, I’m glad it is not my job to decide if the absence is excused or not.

Do you think this doesn’t happen to others, constantly?

Oh I’m sure it does, it’s not pleasant for anybody in any job.

Post 12/03/2024 22:44     Subject: Teachers,

I work at a local HS and I have seen some parents send emails to the entire admin team over trivial stuff because the counselor did not respond to them soon enough. This is over summer!
