My DC area private school had free condoms available when I was in school in the early 2000s. I still didn't have sex until college. Readily available condoms don't make kids have sex, but they can allow those who choose to have sex to be safe. Thank your school for doing this

Our school gives out free condoms as well as free feminine sanitary products, like a variety of tampons. Kids take what they need, it’s fine

Ask you son to bring one home, then blow it up, and put him entirely inside it, up to his chin, for protection against the world.

Condoms are good; stock up! Think about the lack of alternatives in the current political climate, which is only about to get more and more frightening.

They'll likely just use them as waterballoons and prank friends with them at first. Which I actually think is okay, you want a teen to be family with handling condoms and what they are like before they actually are using them for sex.

9th is what 14? That is a bit young. I get your sentiment but he does not need to use them and can still stay celibate. I guess the idea is to make using them very normal and accepted. You can still talk to him about your own values and what it means to you etc... He may or may not listen.
