This is why I don’t stay at people’s houses any more. I sleep late every day, like past noon. It’s awkward so I just get a hotel room or whatever. Some people insist I stay with them but I refuse.

We have one of these too (but male). And then he constantly complains that we never spend any time with him and that he never gets to spend time with our kids. Little kids are not on a noon to 1 am schedule. Gotta either get up or not complain.

I’m sure she snoozed on purpose to “lose” your company and the plans and enjoy some down time to herself. She wins, she wins.

You’re hungry? Eat. You need to be told to eat when you’re hungry?

OK, eat a piece of cheese and some fruit to tide yourself over.

“But but we were going to go out for lunch”…OK? Presumably he can eat light at one of the meals or decide to skip breakfast.

Are you OK?

Unless there are set plans, my guests sleep until they wake up and I don’t fret about it.

That's the way to handle and there is nothing wrong with what she's doing.

Didn't you know, your guests already came with foodsm stashed in their bags so they've probably already eaten, you should too

Let him sleep. Go do your normal routine. Guests who sleep in that late forfeit their rights to make meal decisions and I’m pretty sure they are ok with that.
