Which side makes more sense to you???? Busy thriving bustling Virginia with new businesses popping up everywhere??? Or blue democratic stronghold Maryland dying on the vine???

It’s almost always busy at Tysons – I’m there several times a week. But also, it was never “about the economy“.

Tysons is always busy. But during midweek most people are just there for food and socializing.

The only useful information is to let people know that if they are heading from Arlington/McLean towards Vienna/Fairfax on 123, be prepared for a lot of congestion going through Tysons.

They’re not buying with cash, they’re buying on credit card and likely wont pay it all the first month and will then have interest payments.

The lower class people are still buying at a record pace on Amazon and also gambling their money away on NFL bets, casinos, etc. so yeah huge disconnect regardless of whatever shopping mall you are at or online. Not to mention Walmart, which is Mecca for moderate to lower class, is prospering well. Saw a ton of people today in Alexandria. So yeah, huge disconnect with “economy being so bad” and yet people not matter what their income are spending at a record pace.

The economy is not bad in McLean! The top 20 percent of earners, many of whom live in McLean, are doing better than ever. It's the bottom 80 who are feeling the pinch.
