Trump's base of red States is not going to be happy if they see him focusing on some blue State instead of the states that got him elected. Homan better go clear out Texas and Florida and the other states that elected Trump to deport all of their illegal residents.

If Dems can threaten (red) states with cutting off highway funding if those states won’t enforce federal laws with regards to guns or Title IX (and what roads have to do with federal gun laws or women’s sports is beyond me…) then it seems like it’s also fair to threaten blue states with various funding cut-offs for not enforcing immigration laws.

withholding federal funds could violate the 10th amendment, which protects states' rights, and the Spending Clause, which requires federal funds to be used for the general welfare of states.
I’m actually not concerned at all. It will be chaos. All designed to distract from Trump grabbing everything that’s not nailed down. Taxpayer dollars will go straight into his pockets while he tweets out nonsense that spins everyone up.
