Tried to purchase a parking pass for the meet for garage parking but it's sold out! Any ideas of where to park? (unless I get very lucky and find a metered spot!)

After so many years I just associate it w the start of the holiday season, my favorite time of the year, so I always have good vibes connected to it

This is an old example, but my son won his event (9-10 Boys backstroke) in approximately 2013. He got to choose which song they would play when he walked out. (He chose Gangnam Style, which was popular at the time.) He felt like a rock star!

Can corroborate — a friend’s daughter won the prelims in the 200 free(?). Something like that, anyway. She also got to choose the walkout music for finals and was clearly thrilled. I only saw the videos taken by her parents, but she was beaming ear to ear as they all walked out for the final.

All 13 and over events are positive check in, so for those sessions at least I guess they won’t have accurate timelines until they do the seeding and know how many heats there will be in each event.

The meet is set up as prelims and then finals. The top 16 make it to the finals. The top 8 get to have their names announced and the top seed gets to pick the song they walk out too. They also get medals, but they are just ok.

The medals last year were really sad and cheap but everything else was great.
