If you like British nobility gone rogue in a Guy Ritchie comedy family drama, watch the netflix tv series The Gentlemen. There is some action, but it's all played in a very droll way.

Better things but it’s on Hulu.

I find the monotonous voiceovers on documentaries to be soothing. Lots of old rockumentaries, music legends, etc.

It's a movie, but The Half of It on Netflix is way better than you'd expect. It starts off as a pretty straightforward Cyrano movie but the friendship between the main characters and the stuff with the Dad is really well done.

Blown Away is pretty chill. Competitive glassblowing show.

Dash and Lily is short but pretty cute.

Hallmark channel movies.

When I had ortho surgery 15 years ago (last time I had time to sit down for a few hours, LOL) I watched a few seasons of 24 and then I watched Weeds.

PP who recommended Lovesick. Imposters was another good show, it was on netflix but doesn't seem to be anymore, but maybe worth keeping an eye out for.

Most other suggestions I have aren't on netflix...

OP here.

I started Lovesick and enjoy it, and I rewatch Mindy Project when I am really in and out of it.

Kaos - about Greek gods but set in 1980s Crete. Jeff Goldblum is great.

Vera

I watched all 10 seasons when recovering from surgery, I'm sure I slept through half of it at least.

If you want laughs - watch Brooklyn 99. It is HILARIOUS.

NOT The Diplomat-- I found it hard to follow even while awake.

Agree on Never Have I Ever. Or Offspring, which is an Australian series that I found on DCUM and liked, but which you don't need to pay much attention to to understand.

I'd also say Schitt's Creek.

I have been enjoying this. Glenn Howerton is amazing in whatever he touches.
