Going out to eat - no leftovers

We are going out on Thursday so ... I have no idea. Anything goes really. Maybe Italian wedding soup. I like the Indian food idea.

Not quite the same, but we have a tradition of ordering in Indian on December 23 because for us it’s the biggest departure from the “holiday food” we have coming up. That and we have a superb Indian restaurant in our neighborhood.

Whatever my teens/young adult kids want to make or order. No way am I thinking about that on day 4 of prep for 20+ people.

I always make a light vegetable/bean soup and salad.

Spaghetti

My college kid requested Indian.

Chili because I can prep it ahead and have it cooking in the crock pot all day while I do other stuff. And because my son is coming home from college that day and he loves it. Can’t wait!

We go out for a casual meal- someplace quick and tasty with decent pub grub/salad options

We do actually have lasagna every year. Make ahead,pop in oven. I have to remember to defrost it
