I was in what was classified as a sexless marriage, were we would have sex maybe once a year for 8 years

22 years. And then six months during deployment.

Probably 6 months while I was getting a divorce. After that I met someone I had LOT of chemistry with and realy made up for lost time.

I’ve been remarried over 20 years now and the longest stretch was right after my son was born although she was taking care of me in other ways.

Outside of our kid being born (18 years ago) it rarely goes longer than a week. I had surgery a few weeks ago and after about a week, she was like “so are you f’ng me before lunch or after”. We’re pretty basic, like I haven’t had a bj in 10 years at least but I’m thankful for what we have - especially after reading dcum.

1 year with spouse was the breaking point (it’s now been over 5).
With AP, there was a COVID-caused break of 3 weeks, but that was an outlier.

I have a duel answer. About 3 weeks if you are asking about intercourse in its most basic form. About 5 years if you are asking about something that is a real connection and enjoyable beyond the very basic function.

I’m assuming you mean with others.

Too many crazy men, too much work, vibrators are efficient.

Inside the marriage whatever was told to me by my dr after having babies I guess that was 6 weeks.

I had a really bad divorce and I just wanted to stay away from any women whether romantic or NSA...

But my libido is on fire though, my erections are stronger than they were 3 years ago. And I am just happier.

There are other men who go without but it's just not talked about.

Probably not even a year. I didn't have long periods of being single in my 20s and then I met XH. I didn't enjoy sex that much with my XH but he expected it weekly. After separation, dated and never went very long.
