smitten kitchen butternut squash and chickpea salad. You could mix in arugula or chopped baby spinach if you wanted more greens.

similar salad at walmart but even better. it comes with dijon mustard dressing instead of poppyseed. so good!

Good for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and SIMPLE

Buy a box/bag of mixed spring greens, craisins, pecans (pieces or whole), and crumbled feta. Mix. Serve with balsamic dressing

Everyone at our house wants a salad. I would assume OP knows her audience.

I love a good salad. I find so much t-giving food to be too heavy and cooked/not cold and fresh

I’m thinking of adding a salad to the rotation this year for the first time. My Boomer mom would never dream of such a thing (unless it’s Jell-o salad) and will probably make a disparaging remark about it, but the last time she hosted, I overheard my 20-something niece and my BIL mocking the lack of greens on the table. I think a little bit of arugula or something with an acidic dressing will be a welcome addition.

We have a lot of raw vegetables on a crudites platter before dinner while we’re waiting. So a green salad isn’t really needed or wanted by anyone.
