Well here is the answer. Grandpa gave her the phone, pays for the phone, and now he wants to take the phone. So give the phone to Grandpa. Duh.

I cannot believe that on another thread I asked about a first phone for my 11 year old girl and how to lock it down, and someone actually replied that I should beware of being too controlling. And this is what happens if I would take that advice!

The parents (YOU) should be paying for her phone and dealing with any problems that come with that. Your dad shouldn’t be involved in this at all. If you are low on money, he can pay you directly, if that is what you want to do. But you’re an adult.
