What about healthcare? You want to come back for the city for your doctors or establish care with local (but maybe not as good, unless you are near yale, nyu, cornell, etc satellites) doctors?

So move somewhere that you absolutely love. Take your time finding the place. Your kids will come to you from wherever they are.

Can you suggest some towns? We don’t need to do a daily commute, but don’t want to have to get on a plane to get into the city. Ideally an hour commute but we are flexible.
I’m aware of the train station in rhinecliff since we’ve had a house there for years. But we are tired of rhinebeck. We’d like to go someplace else.
