Part of the pampered, babied generation. They grew up with everyone is a winner, a trophy for all, "your" truth is what matters, if the work is too hard we'll make it easier, etc. They weren't taught "When the going gets tough, the tough get going. "

Yes, I’d say smearing your poop on the Capitol walls and breaking into other people’s offices is more than immature. Or breaking into the Capitol with zip ties to kidnap people is more “immature.”

Voted for a non-democrat.
Remember folks: democrats are supposed to win every election. They are never supposed to lose the presidency!! Every 4 years, a democrat chosen by the party elite just assumes office, that’s democracy.
Democracy= democrats winning every election
You’re being facetious, but for some of these students, this is literally the first time in their lifetime that a Republican has won the popular vote, so it probably does seem weird.
I'm afraid they're going to have to pull up their big kid pants and simply get used to it. You win some you lose some.

I don’t have to imagine. I witnessed the storming of the capitol. Canceling classes for a day seems pretty minor compared to breaking into a building, stealing a podium, shouting hang Mike Pence, killing police officers, etc. But yeah, let’s make fun of some smart kids who are sad and don’t try to overthrow the government.
And plenty of kids there aren’t sad, have paid tuition, and are there to learn. Do your job and show up to teach or be taught.

I'm in college right now, and some of my professors extended the deadline for assignments due on Wednesday to Thursday (an adjustment they made BEFORE the election) because they knew students would be distracted on Tuesday. I think it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
This author is a current student at Harvard, yet you think you know better. I can already tell you're going to be one of "those" young employees...
